Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your LightOfTheCross account, published by BuildByRK, along with everything attached to it. Deletion cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

• Your account and profile.
• Your XP, level, streak, and every lesson and puzzle you have completed.
• Every codex card you have collected and your whole review schedule.
• Every journal entry, prayer note and highlight you have written.
• Your daily reminder and the device it was being sent to.

What we cannot delete

Records of payments you have already made are held by Google Play under its own legal obligations. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in the Google Play app first (Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), or you will keep being charged for a service you can no longer reach.

Delete it from the app

Open LightOfTheCross on the phone you use it on, go to Settings, then Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. Everything listed above is removed from our database immediately and the app returns to its first screen. Crash reports and usage telemetry, which cannot be deleted individually from our analytics provider, age out automatically within about 90 days instead.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@lightofthecross.app from the Google account you used to buy any membership, or with the order number from your Google Play receipt, and say which account you want removed. We delete it from our database within 30 days of your request and confirm by reply — the same 90-day telemetry aging applies as above.
